Phân tích

Magic Bounce lets Hattrem play a rare support role as a bulky entry hazard-deterring Pokemon against Regirock and Mesprit. Healing Wish is excellent utility for supporting teammates that get worn down easily, such as Regirock and Toxicroak. Mystical Fire covers Steel-types like Magneton and Orthworm. Giga Drain is an alternative that pressures Rock- and Ground-types like Regirock and Sandslash while providing Hattrem with some recovery, but it worsens Hattrem's matchups against Steel-types. Nuzzle offers valuable paralysis support; unlike Thunder Wave, it can paralyze opposing Hattrem and also break opposing Focus Sash and Sturdy users. Alternatively, Hattrem can anchor Trick Room teams, which can take advantage of Healing Wish for pivoting and giving slow attackers a second wind. Hattrem should have a Quiet nature when it runs Trick Room. Tera Fairy helps Hattrem survive a massive Dark-type attack from wallbreakers like Sneasel so it can retaliate with Mystical Fire, but Hattrem generally isn't a good user of Terastallization. Offense teams can count on Hattrem to keep entry hazards off, and offensive Pokemon can compensate for Hattrem's poor Speed and passivity. Teammates that appreciate entry hazards being out of the picture most appreciate Hattrem's type of support. Bulky Pokemon that don't run Heavy-Duty Boots are vulnerable to being worn down by Spikes, so Regirock, Muk, and Orthworm benefit greatly from Magic Bounce. Rock-weak offensive threats that don't always run Heavy-Duty Boots, such as Choice Band Sneasel and Choice Scarf Typhlosion, can hit the field more often thanks to Hattrem's support. Offensive pivots like Choice Specs Jolteon, Primeape, and Mesprit all benefit from the field being clear of hazards so they can switch around and stay healthy. Walls that depend on Eviolite, such as Dipplin, don't have to use their recovery moves more often when Hattrem can keep hazards off. Hattrem can stave off Fighting-types like Primeape and Hisuian Sneasel, which is greatly appreciated by Fighting-weak teammates such as Beartic and Sneasel. Knock Off absorbers like Dipplin and Virizion let Hattrem hang onto its Eviolite and remain a useful support Pokemon for these teammates. Specially bulky Pokemon like Cryogonal and Regirock can handle special attackers like Spiritomb and Vikavolt for Hattrem, while physical walls like Orthworm, Dipplin, and Regirock can withstand physical attackers like Sneasel, Primeape and Muk, respectively.
