Investing 196 EVs into Speed brings Quaxly to the 14 Speed benchmark required to outspeed every unboosted Pokemon after a Rapid Spin boost. Brave Bird allows Quaxly to KO a knocked Foongus after Stealth Rock damage. Quaxly can Terastallize into a Flying-type to 2HKO knocked Mareanie or OHKO Eviolite Foongus after a Rapid Spin boost. Aqua Jet revenge kills many sweepers in the tier such as Tera Ground Vullaby, Hisuian Growlithe, and Alolan Diglett. Moxie can help Quaxly snowball and sweep as it gains boosts. Quaxly is best paired with Pokemon that appreciate entry hazard removal. Wingull is a good example due to its powerful STAB move combination can help Quaxly overwhelm its checks.
