Analysis

Mr. Mime tries to make use of a Choice Scarf with great support moves in Healing Wish and Trick as well as its solid Special Attack and Speed for the tier. Unfortunately, its frailty and lack of an offensive presence doesn't help it fulfill its role. On the support side, Uxie is usually preferred because it can run many support moves like Stealth Rock and Thunder Wave, can help pivot its teammates in with U-Turn, and has much better bulk. Rotom is the better choice for speed control due to its typing + ability giving it many resistances and immunities in addition to better offensive STAB moves. Rotom is also slightly faster than Mr. Mime, which can actually help it revenge kill foes like opposing Mr. Mime.
