Analysis

Golett is a niche Choice Scarf sweeper in LC with decent typing and strong Ground + Ghost + Fighting coverage. No Guard allows Golett to utilize powerful attacks like Poltergeist, Earthquake, and Dynamic Punch without missing, allowing Golett to demolish most potential switch-ins with a good prediction. The fourth move is rarely used and flexible, but Rock Slide is preferred to hit Eviolite-less Natu and Larvesta. When using Golett, Knock Off is both beneficial and detrimental; it brings foes into Golett's KO range, but it also makes Poltergeist inconsistent. Golett pairs well with Koffing, which can suppress Regenerator from Mienfoo and Mareanie, and offensive entry hazard setters like Dwebble and Pawniard. It also benefits from Pokemon that can handle Grookey and Carvanha, like Larvesta and Morelull.
